Sherlock Holmes in Greenland
He has arrived!
Following on from yesterday, here’s a quick update on Sherlock Holmes’s progress north!
The Adventure of the Gallows Growler has been underway for a long time. It is now finished, uploaded, and shipped (digital editions) to all backers of the original Kickstarter campaign. The paperback editions will follow very shortly. This project was supposed to be of a modest size, but the novella quickly grew and ended at the 150 paperback page mark, or as close as one can get with different eBook conversions. :-)
This project is special to me because when I decided to borrow Arthur Conan Doyle’s consulting detective - now firmly in the public domain - I knew I wanted to send him to Greenland, a country and a people also very special to me. The Adventure of the Gallows Growler combines my love of Greenland and Sherlock Holmes stories.
I have posted links on my webpage for the Amazon editions, here, but it’s also possible to grab a copy from my Sherlock Holmes Payhip store, including PDF versions. There are several editions, and the Kickstarter edition includes ‘everything’ but the paperback. I am in the process of uploading it to other platforms.
Of course, as I fulfil one Kickstarter project, I am thinking about the next. There are no details as yet, but you are welcome to follow along here to be notified when I push the button to go live!
